Regional Transit for Mid-Maryland: Central Maryland Regional Transit Summit III
The Baltimore Washington Corridor faces numerous challenges in the public transportation arena. It is important that we work together to best understand the benefits and opportunities of approaching public transportation on a regional basis.
This summit was informative but interactive. The day included a case study, panel discussion, and keynote and luncheon addresses. The vital component of the summit was working, interactive sessions, where participants were able to “roll up their sleeves” and focus on creating a vision for transportation in Mid-Maryland. The day concluded with a reception with invited Maryland legislators.
Speakers included Ken Ulman, Howard County Executive, Josh Cohen, Mayor of Annapolis, Colonel Daniel Thomas, Installation Commander for Fort Meade, Letitia Thompson, Regional Administrator, Federal Transit Administration, David Clark, Chief Architect, VIVA in York, Canada, Graham Carey, Project Director, AECOM, Ralign Wells, Administrator, Maryland Transit Administration and many more!
